About Lakeway Floors

Co-owners Carlton and Eric first met in 1995 and have been working together, on and off, ever since. By 2010, after years of trusting each other's craftsmanship and judgment, they brought their combined strengths under one roof and built Lakeway Floors. Between them, they bring more than 70 years of flooring experience: Carlton has been installing floors since 1979 and runs field operations and project management, while Eric has been in the industry since 1993 and leads internal operations and technology. The split is intentional. One of us is almost always reachable, and the other is almost always on a jobsite.

Most homeowners come to us with a vision but aren't sure where to start. We walk every property in person, take real measurements, and ask about how y'all actually live in the home, because the right floor depends on pets, kids, entertaining, and how a space gets used day to day. We explain the "why" behind every recommendation, flag prep work other contractors miss, and give you space to think. No pressure, no same-day-only pricing.
